Alkyd anti-rust paint
Composition

Features
Excellent anti-rust ability.
Excellent adhesion and strong bonding with alkyd topcoats.
Usage: It is suitable for daily maintenance of ferrous metal objects such as iron door castings of machinery and equipment in ordinary industrial environments.
Construction steps
The first step of substrate treatment
For rust-free iron substrates, use cotton cloth dipped in alkyd paint special thinner to remove oil stains on the surface of the substrate.
The rusty iron substrate must be polished and rusted with professional equipment until the new substrate is exposed.
If there are any low and uneven areas on the substrate, fill them with putty after a thin coat of primer dries. After the putty dries, polish with emery cloth.
Finally, the substrate must be wiped clean with a clean cotton cloth to remove floating rust and dust to ensure that the substrate is oil-free, rust-free and dust-free.
The second step is to apply alkyd anti-rust paint
Brush
Open the bucket and mix well before brushing. If brushing is difficult, please add special diluent for alkyd paint as appropriate.
It is recommended that the second primer be applied after the first primer has dried.
Spraying
After opening the bucket and stirring evenly, please use a special thinner for alkyd paint and dilute it according to the weight ratio of paint and thinner.
Use mesh filter before construction.
It is recommended to adopt a wet-on-wet construction process. After the finger is dry to the touch, spray the second primer immediately.
Note
Matte anti-rust paint can only be used as a primer and must be painted with matching topcoat
If glossy anti-rust paint is not topcoated, it must be painted over.
The third step of topcoat application
The matching topcoats are as follows: alkyd blended paint, enamel paint, exterior enamel paint, automobile paint, varnish, silver paint, etc.
Construction Precautions
Do not apply too thickly at one time to avoid slow drying, wrinkles, orange peel and other paint problems.
Do not use inferior release materials to avoid loss of gloss, slow drying and powder removal.
The construction site must be well ventilated and equipped with fire prevention facilities. Necessary protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and overalls must be worn during construction to ensure the safety of construction workers.
During the construction process, the coated items must avoid contact with water, oil, acidic or alkaline substances.
After the construction is completed, please use special thinner for alkyd paint to clean brushes and other supplies.
The painted items must be placed in a ventilated, dry and dust-free environment to allow them to dry naturally.
The items to be painted must be completely dry before packaging or stacking to avoid adhesion and affecting the appearance of the paint film.
Do not pour the diluted paint back into the original paint bucket, otherwise it will easily settle.
The remaining paint should be capped in time and placed in a cool and dry environment.
When the product is stored, it should be kept ventilated, cool and dry, and should be isolated from fire sources, away from heat sources, and away from children.
When the product is transported, it should be protected from rain and sunlight, and should comply with relevant regulations.
The effective storage period is one year. Beyond this period, it can still be used if it passes the inspection. !!
